You can talk with someone in school at anytime if they are free or you can make an appointment.

Medicines In School Policy

Medicines in school Key points

• Your child learns best in school.

• If your child is poorly they should stay at home.

• School can give medicine if your child is well enough to attend but needs to finish prescribed medicine.

• There is no legal duty for staff to give medicines but we want to be as helpful as we can.

• If staff volunteer to give medicines you need to fill in the forms at the end of this policy

Charging Policy

Charging and the cost of things in school Key points

• Children learn a great deal when they take part in trips, visits and fund raising activities.

• School organises many activities that it can’t afford to do without parents making a contribution.

• Contributions are voluntary, but if there isn’t enough money to do an activity or go on a trip, it may be cancelled

• If school items are lost or damaged school may ask you to pay for its replacement.
