Headteacher's Welcome

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Hindley All Saints’. Our school is more than just a place of learning; it is a caring, vibrant environment where children, families, staff, and the wider community work together so that every child can thrive.

At the heart of our school is transformation, supporting every child to develop, flourish, and achieve their full potential in mind, body, and spirit. This transformation is underpinned by our core values of Thankfulness, Love, and Compassion (TLC). These values shape the way we learn, play, and treat one another, encouraging children to become kind, thoughtful, and responsible young people.

We are fortunate to be set within extensive grounds, including a woodland and wildlife area, which provide a wonderful setting for outdoor learning, play, and exploration. We know how important it is for children to connect with nature, and our grounds give them the opportunity to build confidence, curiosity, and resilience.

Another much-loved member of our school family is our school dog, Olive. Olive plays a special role in school life, offering comfort, reassurance, and a calming presence to both children and adults. Whether visiting classrooms, joining a reading session, or simply spending time with a child who may need extra support, Olive helps children to feel safe, valued, and ready to learn. She brings great joy to school life and has a positive impact on children’s wellbeing, self-belief, and sense of belonging.

At Hindley All Saints’, we value strong partnerships with families and see parents and carers as key partners in their child’s education. Our connections with the wider community also enrich our curriculum and help our children to develop compassion, confidence, and a desire to make a positive difference to others.

I hope our website gives you a glimpse into the happy, nurturing, and inspiring environment that makes our school so special. If you would like to see more, please do get in touch; we would be delighted to welcome you and introduce you to our school family, including Olive!
